🟢 Manthali to Lukla Flight (March, April, May, September, October, November)
During peak trekking seasons, flights to Lukla operate from Ramechhap (Manthali) due to increased air traffic at Kathmandu Airport. Manthali Airport is about 4 to 5 hours' drive from Kathmandu.
🕐 On this day, you’ll wake up between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM, take an escorted private transfer to Manthali Airport, and board a 20-minute scenic flight to Lukla.
🔵 Kathmandu to Lukla Flight (January, February, June, July, August, December)
During non-peak seasons, flights to Lukla typically depart from Kathmandu Domestic Airport.

🕕 On this day, wake-up is scheduled between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM. Our team will escort you to the airport for a 35-minute flight to Lukla.

🥾 Trek: Lukla to Phakding
After landing at Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla, you’ll meet your porter and begin your trek.
Pass through a ceremonial gatehouse (Kani)
Descend above Kyangma village, home to a gompa and school
Trek through Cheplung village and cross a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River
Ascend to Ghat, passing Mani walls, Chortens, and prayer wheels
🛏️ After a scenic walk, you’ll arrive at Phakding, where you’ll stay overnight at a local mountain lodge.

🚁 Optional: Helicopter Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla
You have the option to book a direct helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla for an additional charge of USD 500 per person (based on 5-person sharing).
✨ This is the best alternative to avoid the long drive to Manthali Airport during the peak trekking months of March, April, May, October, and November.

After breakfast, the trek crosses several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, passing through Tok-Tok, Bhenkar, and Monjo before reaching the Sagarmatha National Park entrance gate to obtain permits.

Following the riverbed for a few hours, the trail leads to a steep climb after the final Hillary suspension bridge, arriving at Namche Bazaar.

Namche offers restaurants, a cybercafé, pubs, a post office, ATMs, and banks.

Overnight at Namche Bazaar.

Namche Bazaar is perfect for acclimatization, and health experts recommend staying active.

Spend the day exploring Namche or taking a short hike to Everest View Resort, Thame, or Khunde.

Namche, the main hub of the Everest region, features government offices, ATMs, internet cafes, shops, restaurants, bakeries, and a vibrant market on Friday evenings and Saturdays.

A brief trek of 100 meters helps with acclimatization.

Our guides will also take you to the Tourist Visitor Center near the Sagarmatha National Park headquarters to learn about Everest’s early climbers, Sherpa culture, and the region's diverse flora and fauna.

The trek follows the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi, offering stunning views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Taboche Peak, and Ama Dablam.

You’ll ascend to 3,800 meters, reaching Tengboche. Here, the Tengboche Monastery showcases ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot Buddha statue in various poses, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas.

Our group will attend a prayer ceremony, either in the evening or morning, depending on the day's trekking progress.

Overnight at local lodge.

The trek from Tengboche to Dingboche is a relatively short distance, typically completed in the afternoon.

However, the final hill into Dingboche at high altitude is quite challenging.

The trail passes through the village of Somare (4,020m) and then Orsho, both offering lodging.

Later, the trail splits, with the left path leading to Pheriche.

After crossing a suspension bridge and a steep ascent, you’ll reach Dingboche (4,460m), which has several excellent guesthouses.

It’s wise to spend an extra day acclimatizing before trekking to higher altitudes.

You can hike to Chhukung Valley (4,730m) and continue toward Island Peak (Imja Tse).

Another option is trekking to Nangkartshang Gompa, a challenging 2–3-hour hike, or visiting Pheriche for an afternoon lecture on altitude sickness.

The trail to Chhukung passes through Bibr (4,570m) and is surrounded by stunning peaks like Taboche, Nuptse, Lhotse, Amphu Laptsa Pass, and Ama Dablam.

Chhukung has several lodges and is a popular base for climbers heading to Island Peak.

If feeling well-acclimatized, trekkers can ascend the grassy slopes of Chhukung Ri (5,550m) for breathtaking views of Makalu.

After breakfast, we start with an easy walk to Thukla, followed by a steep climb across the Khumbu Glacier's terminal moraine.

We then ascend the rocky slopes of Chupki Lhara, where memorials with prayer flags honor mountaineers like Scott Fischer and Babu Chiri Sherpa.

The trail continues along the Khumbu Glacier moraine, offering stunning views of peaks like Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Mahalangur Himal.

We stay overnight in a local lodge in Lobuche.

We start our trek to Everest Base Camp, passing through the vast Gorak Shep.

Along the way, we see memorials for Indian army mountaineers.

The trail can be tricky, so it’s important to follow your guide.

The high altitude makes the trek challenging, as we cross rocky dunes, moraines, and streams.

At Everest Base Camp, you'll witness stunning views of some of the world’s tallest peaks, including Khumbutse, Nuptse, and Pumori, set against the gray terrain—especially striking in spring.

Afterward, we return to Gorak Shep.

Duration: 5 hours

At 4 a.m., we start our trek in the cold pre-dawn temperatures (-10 to -14°C) with possible chilly winds.

As we climb, towering peaks like Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Changtse come into view, and finally, Mount Everest appears.

At Kala Patthar (5,550m), we’re rewarded with a stunning 360-degree, close-up view of Everest.

After enjoying the breathtaking panorama and capturing photos, we descend to Lobuche and continue to Pangboche for a well-deserved rest.

From Pangboche, we retrace our steps, descending to the Imja Khola and then climbing through rhododendron forests to Tengboche Monastery.

Some may have the chance to see the nuns perform religious ceremonies.

After lunch at Tengboche, we continue trekking across hills covered in colorful rhododendron and juniper trees.

We cross a bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and then follow the trail through the Dudh Koshi gorge, descending quickly through pine forests until we reach Sansa.

While passing through the forest, keep an eye out for wildlife like Himalayan Thar mountain goats, snow leopards, and colorful pheasants.

After passing a Chorten, we reach the army camp at Namche Bazaar, where we stay overnight.

This is our final day of trekking before returning to our starting point at Lukla.

This is a time to reflect on the unforgettable memories of our trek as a group and on achieving our individual goals.

A free afternoon allows you time to relax and enjoy a hot shower!

In the evening, we will celebrate with a few drinks and dance.

After our 14-day trek, we take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.

After arriving in Kathmandu, you can take a rest or do some shopping.

This is also a time to catch up on visiting places you missed on arrival in Kathmandu.

Our guides will continue to assist you with souvenir shopping or sightseeing.
