Tour Plan

Day 01 :
Drive to Dhunche(2,030M/5-6 hours) and Trek to Deurali(2,500M/4-5 Hours Trek)

Today early in the morning we will drive to the small town Dhunche — a gateway to the Gosaikunda trek.
Along the drive, we will be witnessing the beautiful panoramic views of the Himalayas, waterfalls, and streams.

You will also encounter the traditional, unique lifestyle of the people and their culture and traditions.

Reaching Dhunche, we will commence our trek to the classic Gosaikunda Lake. We will pass through small villages, and the trail involves ups and downs following the Gosaikunda River beside the trail.

The trail passes through a lush range of different species of flora and fauna found in the region, and the gossip of the birds makes you feel more connected with nature.

Our first overnight stay will be in Deurali.

Day 02 :
Trek From Deurali To Gosaikunda Lake (4,330M/7-8 Hours Trek)

Today!! is the day we will be reaching the holy lake Gosaikunda, sacred to both Hindu and Buddhist religions.
After having our breakfast, the trail takes us ascending uphills through the dense forest of oak and rhododendron flowers with beautiful panoramic views.

We will be crossing the villages of Dimsa, Sing Gompa, Cholangpati, and Lauri Binayak to reach the holy Gosaikunda Lake in the lap of the mountain ranges.

As we pass Cholangpati, the tree line disappears and the alpine zone begins, where you will only see Himalayan herbs and small shrubs found in the high altitudes near the mountains.

This route offers majestic views of mountain ranges such as Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Paldor Peak, the Tibetan ranges, and the Tibetan Valley.

As we gain elevation, breathing becomes harder and trekking more challenging, with fewer steps possible at a time.

We will stop in Gosaikunda for a few hours, then hike to the Gosaikunda Peak and return for an overnight stay.

Day 03 :
Trek to Surya Kunda Lake (4,500M) and Surya Peak (5,000M) and Trek back to Singhgompa(3,250M/7-8 Hours Trek)

This morning, we will commence our hike to Surya Kunda, which takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach from Gosaikunda Lake.
Along the trail, there are many lakes you will encounter on the way to Surya Kunda.

From the top of Surya Peak, you will witness the majestic vistas of the Himalayas and enjoy panoramic views in all directions.

After exploring for a few hours, we will descend back to Gosaikunda, have our breakfast, and spend some more time exploring the Gosaikunda Lake.

With a heavy heart, we will then begin our descent to Sing Gompa for an overnight stay in the Himalayas.

Day 04 :
Trek From Sing Gompa(3,250M) to Dhunche(2,030M/6-7 hours Trek)

With a comfortable stay in the tea house, and after consuming our breakfast, we will begin our return trek, leaving behind Sing Gompa. Following the rough and dusty trails through the villages of Dimsa and Deurali, we will meet different trekkers along the way.

As we descend, the altitude decreases, making it easier to breathe. The tree line reappears as we move closer to the city area.

We will be able to see the full trail we covered with our own eyes, down to the Buddha Park. As we continue descending, the trail leads us to the river and onwards to a small town for our overnight stay.

Here, we will celebrate our successful trek with a small party, enjoying good food, cold beers, and hot showers to relax our tired bodies. Our final overnight stay of the trek will be at a hotel in Dhunche.

Day 05 :
Drive To Kathmandu (1,300M)

Today, we will drive back to Kathmandu city by private bus or jeep, depending on your preference. The journey takes approximately 6 to 7 hours. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be directly transferred to your hotel.

After freshening up, you may choose to explore the vibrant Thamel area, where you can shop for local goods, souvenirs, and gifts for your loved ones from the colorful and lively markets.
