Tour Plan

Day 01 :
Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to Ashram guest house (1,450m).

Welcome to Kathmandu! Upon arrival, our guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to our ashram guest house. Spend the day exploring nearby markets and shopping for equipment. In the evening, a team member will provide a trek briefing

Day 02 :
Drive to Pokhara (827m)

After an early breakfast, embark on a 6–7 hour scenic drive to Pokhara, enjoying views of rivers, terraced fields, and mountains along the way. Upon arrival, check in to a lakeside hotel and spend the evening relaxing by Phewa Lake.

Day 03 :
Drive from Pokhara to Sikles (1,980m) – Explore Gurung Culture

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Pokhara and drive to Sikles, a scenic journey of approximately 3 hours via a rugged mountain road. Located at an elevation of around 1,980 meters, Sikles is one of the largest and oldest Gurung settlements in the Annapurna region. After arrival, take time to explore the cobbled lanes, traditional houses, and local museum, gaining insight into the Gurung community's rich cultural heritage, customs, and attire. You may also enjoy views of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II in the distance. Overnight at a local lodge in Sikles.

Day 04 :
Trek from Sikles to Tasha (approx. 2,700m) – Through Rhododendron Forests

Begin your trek from Sikles to Tasha, a 6 to 7-hour journey through beautiful mixed forests of rhododendron, oak, and pine. The trail ascends gradually, passing terraced fields, grazing pastures, and small herder shelters. Keep an eye out for local wildlife such as Himalayan langurs, barking deer, and a variety of bird species like the Himalayan monal (Nepal’s national bird) and blood pheasant. Overnight at a basic teahouse or tented camp in Tasha.

Day 05 :
Trek from Tasha to Kori Danda (3,850m) – Alpine Landscapes and Panoramic Views

Today’s trek is a steady ascent of about 5 hours to Kori Danda, a breathtaking alpine viewpoint at 3,850 meters. The trail opens into high meadows and yak grazing pastures, with increasingly expansive views of the Annapurna and Lamjung ranges. At the top, you’ll be rewarded with one of the best panoramic vistas in the region, including Annapurna II, IV, Lamjung Himal, and possibly Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). Kori is also a sacred site for local Gurungs, often visited during special festivals. Overnight at a tented camp or seasonal teahouse, depending on availability.

Day 06 :
Return Trek from Kori Danda to Tasha – Mountain Sunrise & Alpine Descent

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the Himalayan peaks—an unforgettable sight. After breakfast, retrace your steps downhill to Tasha, enjoying a different perspective of the pristine landscapes and vibrant vegetation along the way. Overnight at the same teahouse or campsite in Tasha.

Day 07 :
Trek from Tasha to Sikles – Return to Cultural Heartland

Today, you descend back to Sikles village, trekking through serene forest trails and open terraces. This final walking day offers time to reflect on your mountain journey and revisit the cultural charm of Sikles. Overnight at a local lodge in Sikles.

Day 08 :
Drive from Sikles to Pokhara – Farewell to the Hills

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive back to Pokhara, descending through forested hills, river valleys, and traditional villages.
End of trek.

Day 09 :
Drive back to kathamndu or flight to kathmandu.

After breakfast, return to Kathmandu on a 6–7 hour scenic drive. You may choose to extend your journey with optional activities such as a Chitwan jungle safari, white-water rafting, a Kathmandu valley shopping tour, a scenic Everest flight, mountain biking, or other adventure experiences.

Day 10 :
Final Departure

We bid you farewell as your incredible journey in Nepal comes to an end. If time allows, enjoy some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Approximately 3–4 hours before your flight, a representative from AuroNepal Trek will escort you to the airport. As you head home, take with you unforgettable memories and dreams of your next adventure in this beautiful country.
